TEENAGERS are being blamed for terrorising a Vange housing estate.
The unruly teenagers have been hanging around in large groups and making life a misery in Ravensfield where they bang on front doors.
They have been emptying the dog poo bin before throwing the contents at each other and at the walls.
Residents raised the issue at the Vange Neighbourhood Action Panel where police set it as a priority to tackle over the next six weeks.
Locals have blamed the trouble on boys from nearby Basildon Lower Academy who hang around the estate during break-times.
Deborah Knight, 36, who lives in Ravensfield, said: “They jump over the fence, swearing and smoking and once they’ve finished they jump back over and go back to school.”
